Guest Bathroom Glow-Up with Signature Styles by Brit

I’ve always said good design doesn’t have to be expensive—but it should make you feel something. That’s exactly what happened when I worked with one of my favorite collaborators and clients, @signaturestylesbybrit, to transform my guest bathroom (and later, my office and guest bedroom).

With decades of hospitality experience under my belt, I wanted the space to feel welcoming and comfortable—not just stylish. The kind of bathroom where guests feel cared for, not like they’re navigating a secondhand storage closet.

Brit helped me make it functional and beautiful, and funny enough, it’s even improved my marriage. My husband decided to move into the guest bath permanently (we now call it our “bathroom divorce”), and honestly—it’s been a win-win. Peace, privacy, and no more clutter battles.

It turned out so beautiful!

You can check out the transformation for yourself in this quick walkthrough with Brit:

  • Light Fixture: Link – Big impact, low price.

  • Mirror: Link – Classic shape, perfect size.

  • Faucet (Alternative Option): Link – Our pick is no longer available, but this one was a close second.

  • Cabinet Handles: Link – Affordable and solid.

  • Towel & Hooks: Link – We kept it clean and simple.

The Best Part?

Brit got everything done before my guests arrived—and not only did they notice the change, they loved it so much they asked for her number. That’s the sign of a successful design.

We didn’t stop at the bathroom either. Brit also revamped my home office and guest bedroom. She incorporated pieces I already had, sourced affordable additions, and even coordinated with a professional organizer to make my space feel just as functional as it is beautiful.

One of my favorite corners in the house now? The cozy little reading nook she created just for me in the office. It’s my reset button. Now we’re working on a giant gallery wall - stay tuned for the results when we have finally collected and curated the whole thing.

Before - right after my sons moved out!

Why I Recommend Her:

Brit doesn’t push a style on you. She listens. She works with your timeline, your budget, and your weird emotional attachment to that one piece of art you picked up at a flea market 10 years ago. And somehow, she makes it all feel fresh again.

If you’re looking for someone who combines practicality with a little bit of magic, Signature Styles by Brit is your girl.

Removing that soffit was genius but I love the fixtures and the paint so much. I didn’t have to replace the entire vanity and still got big impact.
